Pallet Trucks can be hired as well as purchased. Depending on your business needs this may be an economical option.
If you do not intend to use your pallet truck on a daily or even weekly basis then hiring a truck as and when you need it could be a good option for you. However, this could work out to be more expensive as a long term solution. If you were to buy a good quality pallet truck it can last for years granted you keep it in a good condition.
Work out how often you will be using the pallet truck, how much this would cost you to hire it against the cost of buying one outright.

A New Store for HSS Hire!
Congratulations from the Group Source Team!!! Hss Hire are Expanding!!!
Their 12th new store in as many months!!
The store has recently been opened in St Helens, Merseyside, at St Helen’s Retail Park, located adjacent to the town’s main Linkway thoroughfare.
Chris Davies, CEO at HSS Hire says: "The new St Helen’s store will help us to deliver an improved scale and scope of service for customers across the North West region. It also offers more floor space, allowing for an extended product range, as well as increased parking in a better location."
The new St Helen’s branch will be open from 7am – 7pm on weekdays and 8am - 5pm Saturdays. The new centre is located at St Helen’s Retail Park, St Helens, WA9 1JQ.

Pallet Trucks
A pallet jack, also known as a pallet truck or pump truck, is a tool used to lift and move pallets
The front wheels are mounted inside the end of the forks, and as the hydraulic jack is raised, the forks are separated vertically from the front wheels, forcing the load upward until it clears the floor. The pallet is only lifted enough to clear the floor for subsequent travel.
Pallet Trucks can either be opertaed manually or by they can be powered. Powered trucks are normally used for large loads that wouldnt be possible to move by hand. Hand trucks and trolleys are normally used for smaller jobs for moving stock etc.
Pallet trucks come in loads of different styles, including ones that have extra low clearance or extra long forks, trucks that can easily move over rough terrain or that can lift pallets very quickly. Others are designed for extra high clearance, galvanised to guard against corrosion or made of stainless steel for use in hygienic environments.
